With lots of technological advancements being developed every year, it’s no surprise that gardening is also much more advanced now. Have you ever heard of hydroponics? It’s one of the most efficient gardening methods ever invented, it has been widely adapted all over the world.
Hydroponics comes from the Greek words hydro (water) and ponos (labor). Hydroponics is a new and advanced way of planting crops. The idea is to plant your crops in a special container that has water and some sort of medium.
The plants also need some sunlight, air, and proper pH levels. The pH levels should be in their optimum range (6.3), but anywhere from 5.8 to 6.8 is ideal. Air should also be in 6ppm for optimum growth.
Some of the great advantages of hydroponics is that it requires less labor, has minimal to no nutrition waste, and has a faster growth rate. You can find out more about this revolutionary gardening technique in the following infographic.
